I’m guessing you’ve already seen The Crisis of Credit Visualized, but if not, it’s pretty amazing.
The artist is Jonathan Jarvis, whose larger thesis work explores “the use of new media to make sense of a increasingly complex world”.

Great video.  It would be a beautiful thing if he could continue this into a series (contributed to by various economic and financial advisors), and have those videos shows in high schools around the country.  Hopefully, kids are educating themselves via the internet and/or newspapers, but odds are more people are choosing to ignore the problem, rather than face reality.
