Today was the last day of my rehearsal space in the LES, and the end of an era for music spaces like this in Manhattan. Very few, if any remain, and this one—however dank and gloomy—was a refuge in this libation and carnival driven part of town. I was lucky to have been there and shared in it’s magic.
